Idk if it’s just this point in the story but this season feels weirdly underwhelming compared to cour 1

It’s definitely the story lol. I made the post pages ago, but this cour just doesn’t involve many of the tier 1 characters in the arc. Yhwach literally does nothing for 90% of it and outside of Gremmy, the Sternritters get much more powerful going forward. There’s also not that many moments that progress the story forward; most of it is just person vs person battles with a few moments that seem like real progression. It feels like a TON of time is elapsed over cour 1

I think they visually did a good job of keeping us engaged though.

I also don’t make the above post to really fault Kubo totally. 4NW arc has that middle section where it’s just reanimated older Kage and folks with a personal connection to the heroes against the heroes. Idk how many chapters/eps, but it goes on for a while
