Has Frank influenced anyone yet or is it too early?
Yeah I think the guest list on TLOP shows a lot of the great artists of the time on one album, just by that alone I think its culturally significant, not to mention its Kanye well into his career still being creative and pulling from so many styles and yet making it great.
Blonde uses a kinda similar approach with alternative sounding production and I think his whole aesthetic is a part of influencing a different, better example of masculinity that isn't so toxic, the fact that its supposed to signify masculine and feminine on concept alone is cool (blond/blonde)
Along with the fact i'd bet it was probably Boys Dont Cry as the working title therefore going further into thinking about what it means to be male and/or masculine, we're seeing a lot of this conversation still and society is still evolving in the middle of everything.
