Started a new character, need to do a playthrough without eating the umbilical cords for that ending's trophy. Spent all of the last 2 nights trying to beat BSB Used almost all my fire paper, blood cocktails, antidotes and blood vials but eventually managed to get it done with beast pellets Forgot how exhilarating this game can be, my heart was beating out of my chest on one attempt where I came close to beating it

Doing a Str/Arc build so the beginning is extra tough. Grinded after beating BSB last night and managed to get LHB. Think I'll be using it as my main weapon, was kinda struggling with the saw cleaver's moveset

Have like 3 or 4 paths open to me now. Ran into Darkbeast Paarl and just bold hunter's marked away Still need to explore the rest of Yahar'gul, think I can fight Vicar Amelia and go to the Forbidden Woods if I go left from where Vicar is. Trying to rush through the game but I also need to grind for blood vials, leveling up etc. This playthrough will probably take me somewhere in the region of 50 hours

Y'all done bumped this thread at just the right time because I just bought this game for the first time a few days ago alongside a PS5, and I gotta say wow. It is so satisfying and so eerie at the same time. Even at 30 FPS the combat feels so good. The trick weapons are so cool, timing your pistol shots to get a visceral attack in. I can't even imagine how this would be at 60.

So far I've made it to Vicar Amelia. Game has been flawless thus far except for the typical Souls-trait (up until Elden Ring) of not having that many checkpoints. I have unlocked some shortcuts though.

You'll learn the game map pretty easily because the level design is GOAT.

Not really, I’ve tried playing the game but going from playing games on a pc with a 240hz monitor is extremely jarring.

i WILL be waiting for the next gen/remaster though
