It's available now I just bought it. Thanks!
The way fashawn comes in and how exile gave him his own style/sonic/backdrop/part of the beat… then the drums come back….that whole part is insane
Two singles were very good. Gonna save this and in waves for last after I bump all the mid that dropped this weekend
Love most of this but getting pretty tired of the LA raps from Blu. From City of Los(t) Angel(e)s to now it’s pretty clear he’s run out things to talk about on that front. That and the more “gangster rap” joints like Undisputed, Ominous World, and Chucks are not bad songs but not what I want to hear from Blu&Exile especially coming right off of that Evidence collab.
Good entry in the catalog though and can’t say anything on it is bad

I've always wondered how deep he really was in the streets to be talking so much about it. Never really took him for the gangster type but may be he really does have a lot of ties to it.

I don't think he portrays himself as a gangster just makes songs about that life and homages to classic gangster rap. Kinda like Kendrick Blu has always claimed he's unaffiliated but was around it.
It started around GTBH which is an amazing concept album but it's like he got stuck on that sound at some point and only Exile can get him on the more calm introspective Blu vibe we're more used to. That's the only reason I have a problem with that sound bleeding into a Blu&Exile project.
Blu has always been an artist that releases projects nonstop but there used to be a much clearer line between projects made under different producers so it never really got boring.
A lot of the beats on this album are 'cute', reminds me of E&J by Exile and Johaz (Dag Savage), but Blus obviously a much better rapper. I do think the three track run starting with Chucks and ending with Ominous world was a bit of a chore to get through. Otherwise a nice edition to their catalogue
Any Blue & Exile album with features from Fashawn and Cashus King is classic to me. This is another dope addition to their catalogue

Cashus King is such an underrated rapper

He was always one of those rappers I really enjoyed to just hear rap. His voice was super distinct. When I first heard him he didn’t sound like a Cali rapper.
When I first got into Blu I still had that stereotypical image of “west coast rapper” in my head and their style of rapping but rappers like Blue and Cash changed that.

would’ve liked another dag savage album
