Ive already read "How To Win Friends and Influence People" and Im currently looking into maybe starting "How to Talk To Anyone" by Leil Lowndes, depending on what yall think about it.

It seems like the second book is moreso just about body language which is not exactly what Im looking for.

I would be very grateful for any other suggestions! Thanks a bunch! ❤

Reading books about socializing is cool and all but the best teacher is experience/action. A lot of people read something and think that’s it, but you have to go out and apply that stuff. Doing it>Reading about it.

Well, due to the pandemic I currently have more free time than usual and can dedicate a bit of focus to refine those skills

I haven’t personally read this one yet but Models: Attract Women Through Honesty by Mark Manson is hyped up a lot as a good book.

    just read more in general
itll grow your verbal/written iq and give you more topics / insight to discuss
this is one of those things you should only try to get better at indirectly, dont try to "gain social skills" or some s*** itll f*** up your ability to communicate naturally

    Honestly

    Imma keep it 100000%

Self help conversation books are great

But you can learn top tier communication by mimicking TV show conversations

Just pay attention to what they are talking about and a***yze it

    More specifically, comedy shows

    This is an interesting read.

    goodreads.com/book/show/14142.The_Art_of_Loving

    Heres a review :

This very little book dispels a lot of myths about 'love'. Our culture is obsessed with love. We have innumerable romantic movies, songs, literature, dances centred on it. 'falling in love' is valued highly. Humans are on the look out for ' the one's ( generally judging on the basis of material prosperity, physical attractiveness)

Which tv shows helped your communications?

    Personally none

But you can a***yze just about any tv shows banter and put your own spin on it

Feel like that’s easier than just books cus it’s showing actual conversations in action ya know

They’re not books on conversation, but I do recommend the Power of Positive Thinking by Norman Vincent Peale and Loser Think by Scott Adams. Both are tremendous in changing your train of thought and helping to see things in a better light as well as developing more confident and healthy habits
