That’s my thing. What OP said. That’s what I’m disgusted by. Even though he’s not MY top 10, I’m not arguing with that argument at all.

As a 26 year old Mississippi dude from the Delta region I can wholeheartedly say Boosie is second to Wayne in influential southern rappers.

There's not another rapper who was getting the whole cafeteria yelling his name B.O.O.S.I.E and lyrics. Now Gucci is also up there as niggas listened to all his mixtapes and all 76 tracks of them b****es.

It depends on the period but by and large, Boosie's impact is second to Wayne as far as hype and continued momentum as well because hell my older sister asked if I'd heard the new Boosie when it first came out so people still looking for him.

To the people saying OutKast...y'all watch too much TV or are northerners who only know what media people tell you is a hot act but..them niggas wasn't looked at as "pennacle of southern rap". Andre 3000 is Ms. Jackson and Heeyy Yeaah and such. No one was going to them for raps and such. I'm talking about what was played at record hops, dances, and step shows all that.

I never said that. Just that he isn't over Boosie for impact, influence, and popularity. Lyricism would be different but so what, there are hella decent lyricists so what does that matter
