Have this annoying feeling about next season and my own fandom.

I’m afraid we’ll basically complete the trilogy of ‘talented team that forgets how to play basketball when it matters.’ And end up losing in ECF again or even be a 2nd round knockout.

I’m just not on board with Mazulla. He seems dogmatic in his coaching and his timeline doesn’t match the jays. The core of Smart, Jayson & Jaylen does not have 2 more years in it for me. It’s hard to root for an expiring product…

But I guess we’ll see in november.

Mazzulla kinda saved himself in my eyes with the 0-3 comeback, obviously it didn't end well but that was more on Jaylen and Tatum's ankle roll then him and it'll be erased by history sadly but Mazzulla was genuinely coaching extremely well in those last games. I think those games showed growth for him and with a legit staff behind him of vets then I think he'll be good.

It's really the team's roster that could make me fall into disinterest if something doesn't drastically change this off-season. Even if it's not trading Jaylen (tho I would aggressively be looking at Dame trades if I was the Brad Stevens) this roster has stagnated and needs a shake-up. Tatum and White should be the only guys safe this off-season to me and maybe Rob but even then if you can find a more proven and consistently healthy center for him I wouldn't shoot it down.

Huge long-shot but watching the finals had me thinking: Bruce Brown is a free agent this summer, what are the chances of him landing on the C's? I feel like he'll most likely stay with Denver but he's Boston born and raised, if there's any other team that could make a compelling offer it might be the Celtics and plus it would give us forward depth

I've seen a lot of hypothetical trades or signings from fans on twitter and I'm curious: in your honest opinion, being as realistic as possible, do you think they're gonna make any roster moves this summer (anything from Jaylen trade to just getting bench guys) or just run it back?

(I don't think it's gonna be completely untouched bc pp obviously getting traded and I don't really see us getting Grant back bc I think he'll get better offers elsewhere that we can't afford for him but I mean as in adding impact guys)
