Couple moments of this movie are pure euphoria

Yeah the end with the shots of the building are amazing

Enjoyed it but I get why they’re calling Corbet a poseur lol. Pretty impressive achievement but doesn’t quite reach what it’s going for. Made me want to go home and watch a better movie. But still lots to enjoy here, didn’t even feel long to me honestly

Also more long movies should have intermissions, great choice

it was good and clearly made with love but people need to stop f***ing comparing things to the godfather or there will be blood if it doesn't even try to set out and be something new. s/o the intermission

most of my problems with this movie come down to expectations so i might need a rewatch but idk

Loved the 70mm screening of this. They gave us posters, a brochure of Laszlo's architecture and had art pieces of his designs set in front of the door. I feel like Laszlo's depiction didn't exactly meet the level at which everything around the film hypes him to be tho.

Movie itself was pretty good wasn't mad at the length. Corbet's directing job was great imo its the writing that was weaker especially the character work. He's in a good spot tho
