The people calling for Trumps twitter to be taken down are mad corny

For some reason there’s this huge population of people who think nothing bad ever happened before Trump and nothing bad will happen after they get rid of Trump.

And what's corny about people wanting his Twitter to be taken down? He's the leader of a country and using the platform to incite violence. You can't be this stupid.

theoretically it could, but the chances of this being applied to anything other than large-scale entities are very slim, because of how hard it'd be to enforce. even if it did, the effects would likely be minimal; places like KTT2 operate pretty openly and have clear terms reflected in moderation, so I don't think it'd affect much.

The EO isn't really bad by itself, it just lacks a lot of context but maybe that's the point. If it were more direct in it's intentions, an injunction would probably be ordered pretty quickly.

If this goes into effect, odds are you won't feel a change. The most you will ever personally experience is some announcement on the Twitter frontpage and nothing of it going forward.

Ironically, if this order works out and is generally neutral in it's application, a lot of the people hating itt should be happy. Far left figures that have been de-platformed are given more protection, assuming it all works out.
