Still mindblowing they managed to reverse a top 3 most iconic Zelda songs and made it this good
Got nothing better to do, so i ask yall what was your first Zelda and how did you find out about this series?
For me, i would often read gaming magazines while waiting for my mom to finish grocery shopping, but ironically enough i had never heard of Zelda, even though i owned a Wii back then. I found out about Zelda first when i was looking for a new 3ds game to buy, i saw that oot 3d artwork with link riding epona with hyrule in the background, ive always been the type to prefer epic aventures in media so that s*** hooked me i had to buy it i whined to my parents and they bought It for me. I was enticed by the beginning, but it wasnt until the atmosphere inside the deku tree that i was completely taken by the game. I played the f*** out of it, did like 5 playthroughs in a row. Ocarina of time being your first Zelda is a nice introduction to the series id say lol, so i was lucky i picked that one first. Funnily enough i got this game before skyward sword released, so SS was the first Zelda game i was highly anticipating, but that time i didnt have to wait long unlike with botw and totk.
I got the limited skyward sword edition with the golden Wii controller and the 25th anniversary ost, i was that hyped. I still got those in full display, but i lost the box
Don’t think imma play this anytime soon in the immediate future, I started playing BOTW a few weeks ago and it seems like the type of game you spend months playing so I put it on pause

Whatever you do, do NOT rush your first botw playthrough. You're doing the right thing, playing botw and that back to back will be worth it

Nice bro. Ocarina of Time was also my first Zelda game, but I had it on the N64. I got it for Christmas when I was a kiddo and although I was too young and clueless to get anywhere further than the Deku Tree I had a friend who beat the whole game for me and I eventually beat it myself years later. I remember me and him used to argue about whether Link was a girl or a boy. I always thought he was a girl when I was little and my friend was like NAH MAN LINK'S A DUDE.
Once we made it to the point where Link grows up, I learned that he was indeed a dude. Lol.

Idk man, the HYAAAAAHs were pretty masculine, dont know what your child self was on!!!!
Although the skirt could make things confusing for a kid!

Haha the skirt/tunic and the young Link voice sounded more girly to me. Adult Link however...strong masculine voice there lol.

Always knew about zelda from friends who had game cubes and game boys when we were kid, i think I played minish cap for like 2 hours when I was super young too
First zelda I really played was BOTW as it felt like a must have game when I got the switch, one of the best decisions of my life

On average each game Is like 20/30 hours with some outliers like wind waker and skyward sword so yeah its better to leave them for later
