900p docked, uses FSR1 to reach 1080p. Slightly sharper than BOTW but with subtle edge ringing. Resolution can drop to around 720p when camera is panning.
720p portable.
Pre-release patch has addressed nearly all instances of frame loss, mostly solid 30 fps. Using 'ultra-hand feature' can cause drop to 20 fps (due to double-buffer vsync).
Exceptionally polished. No bugs or unexpected behaviour.
Not too big for switch (but doesn't measure up to original trailer).

Thank God we got a digital foundry in this industry, and glad we wont suffer too many framedrops, although sad it took a patch but its whatever, there are games in worse condition

That guy said that the side quests from Ragnarok were better written than The Witcher 3, and since I couldn't tell you one side quest from that game that I played in November...

The part about frame loss is iffy imo. From a first hand account. The random drops while walking are gone in the latest patch

BUT if you move the camera too fast…. It drops. Using ultra hand drops frames every single time and you use that constantly.

So the drops are still there

Only side quest I remember in Witcher 3 is giving a lady a pan just because it was so f***ing stupid

Yeah for sure, but we at least dont have instances like korok forest or kakariko pre-patch is what im saying. Botw drops frames when using runes sometimes too, or when enemies ragdoll too far

Since my copy seems to be on schedule to arrive today I’m gonna avoid these reviews. They gonna spoil the heck out of the game.

They already sending those to Eurogamer, GameSpot gave Twilight princess a 8.8 back then and it got so bad cause the fanboys were seething, and that was a goddamn 8.8
