Wait I didn't even realize they were in order in the temple
crine i can’t remember if it explicitly says so but i just assumed since the first one is also the first on the wall and sure enuff
I need to think about it more tbh
I think botw is just a lot more elegant in it's design and I feel it's more well balanced as a whole
I think since "BoTW" was the first open world title in the series it stands out more, but "ToTK" builds upon that foundation & brings it to new heights.
Also, the Divine Beasts were whack (imo)

I feel you
Everyone has said this already but the relatioship between the two games feels a lot like OOT and Majora. While Majora is more ambitious there is a simplicity to Ocarina that hits differently.
Me personally though its Majora and Tears (so far) all the way
I will agree that memories shouldve been handled differently though. Especially seeing where they lead.

They weren't very good indeed

I'm critical of the game but like I spent half of my week playing it I really love it and think it's top 10 games I've ever played but yeah

It's just some parts that worked in botw that just don't work as well in totk imo the formula is good but it has to be tweaked more to really work
I also feel the way the new mechanics are implemented in the over world isn't as subtle as in botw. like they just put building materials everywhere like "hey here's the thing to use the new power with" which is fine it's a video game after all, but it feels like in botw it was so much more subtle because the world was your tool while here I feel there's a disconnect with the environment idk... The depths are where the game gets it right I think

Lmao honestly you might also be a bit burned out.
I love the game too but gotta take a night off

Yeah definitely I realized that while playing yesterday
I'm taking the weekend off
Also I feel like redoing botw a few months ago definitely plays a part in how I feel, it's OK tho I like a***yzing stuff like this
Game says I need splashfruit then proceeds to not tell me where or how to get it 9/10

grows on trees in places
Oh nah imma go crazy with my new home
For the main quest gerudo desert riddle, is everything I need at the red pillars or do I need to go farm some zonai devices like mirrors and come back later? I feel like I something’s missing

Not exactly sure Maxxing….but honestly I’m stuck on the riddle in the desert with the red pillars
Can someone help me without spoiling it, i have a question. Is everything I need at the pillars? Or am I supposed to leave and stock up on zonai devices like mirrors and then bring them back in order to use them? I feel like everything I need should be there already but I can’t tell.
I didn't want to do the temples in the same order as BoTW, but I'll leave the desert out. It truly feels like leaving the map, in a way, travelling beyond its limits.
Also, I just read that in an interview. It's hilarious that some fans are obsessed with a timeline and when it obvious that every game is a new iteration of the same thing:
"Certain games are prequels, others are sequels. “Breath of the Wild” confounded Zelda archaeologists: Where did this fit in? Aonuma has been historically evasive about this answer, and that hasn’t changed today.
“I guess I would leave it to the fans and hope they will continue to discuss this among themselves,” Aonuma said, “and I’ll be looking forward to see where those discussions lead.”

not true though, most games are either prequels or sequels
A link between worlds is a sequel to a link to the past, majoras mask is a sequel to ocarina of time, skyward sword is a prequel to all games, spirit tracks and phantom hourglass are sequels to windwaker, totk is a sequel to botw, etc.
