its worth beating, lightning temple is super good and the final boss is elite. side s*** is very hit or miss and the open world gets old pretty fast when it just starts to feel like botw again
Im not finished with the game, far from it, but yet so far i can see and agree with this take. Maybe the quests arent as well written as in Red dead 2 or witcher 3 or cyberpunk, but damn they make you do different things everytime. In gameplay variety, totk quests really might be in the upper echelon of open world side quests, easily.
yeah the sidequests and npcs in here are top tier. not every quest is very entertaining but there is a nice balancing between rather mundane quest and complex quests.
desperately trying to find the last shrine. Even looked it up online but there is just way too much stuff on the map to find the missing one.

Did u find it? Keep in mind most clusters of sky islands will have a shrine or two in them, and u can use the light root placements to know where shrines are on the surface too

yup i found it yesterday. missed one shrine on Dragonhead Island. it was well hidden and I priotized looking for treasure chests over looking for shrines when travelling there.

never expected there to be a shrine but it was fun to even get there and the shrine itself wasn't too bad. I'm glad it wasn't a blessing shrine.
HOLY f*** Just made the coolest Discovery in the underground yet, im amazed at the consistency in which i miss the coolest stuff ever down there by a thin hair cause this is not the first time theres a dope structure just over the parts i lit up in previous explorations
Guys, I just finished fire temple and I dont know what the f*** I was doing, I dont think I did anything the intended way during this stagee, lol. Did anyone else feel the same way?
I played almost 12 hours today f***
But i need to finish this cause games like pikman are waiting and i want to see the much hyped ending
I've still held off on beating the game. There's so much stuff to do still. Need that tunic of time to complete the set
Im trying out some of these speed running strategies and god they're so hard to pull off they make it look so easy on the streams

I don’t think anybody completed the fire temple the way it was intended lmao
Doing the sky plateau in reverse is a lot of fun, it's clearly not the way you're supposed to do it but you can still manage it, good challenge
Creative use of a Ice/Blizzard Rod on a Waterfall to make thin blocks of ice rain down
