So are we all in agreement that the ancient hero's aspect has to be the hero from the botw tapestry right. In that case, i wonder why did they bother to show us this and most importantly show us hes the offspring of a gerudo and zonai, which opens up even more questions
There were definitely some cheesable spots in the Fire Temple haha. I made it into some of the rooms there through questionable means.
It’s hard to consider something as “cheese” when you have mechanics like placing platforms wherever you want and jumping through the f***ing ceiling.
Ive spent a total of at least one hour just riding on top of the light dragon and chilling. No reason whatsoever of course!!!
Finishing up all the secondary stuff i got left before heading to beat ganondorf, and thinking how this game oddly keeps mentioning, either directly or indirectly, the outside world, whatever's outside of hyrule, and that makes me wonder if these arent teases for whats to come of the series. Hyrule cant change too much, the death mountains, zora domains, gerudo desert, etc are staples that always have to appear, but in doing so that sense of deja vu that some criticized in totk will always remain, even if in a lesser degree. So i think that they're getting ready to take link and Zelda out of hyrule, to some new lands. Maybe they reintroduce labrynna, holodrum, or invent a new kingdom. This also makes it possibile for them to experiment even more with tradition and conventions, so it would be a great idea
Better than botw, easily better than any other Zelda, better than anything else ive ever played
Its so funny i had extremely high expectations for the final boss, and this game still managed to shatter them completely
I will probably write extensive thoughts on this game but i want it to marinate first, hype and emotions are getting the best of me rn
I think after about 3 months its finally time to go to Ganon lol. Found all the special swords, shields and armors i needed. Got several fusions in rotation. The octorok blacksmith system is a fop 5 new feature.
Almost 2 months later and I STILL havent gone down there. I keep getting sidetracked and at this point i might as well finish everything else first

Landed on my last geoglyph after launching out of my last skyview tower
finished my last temple and am just wrapping stuff up before I move on the the finale
Just in time for Starfield
Yeah yeah the title drop in botw getting out of the shrine of resurrection is more iconic but tears of the kingdom's title drop is far superior.

They nailed these key moments all throughout the game.
Hate that the dude in the video just straight dived into the lake tho...

I saw the OLED at a best buy a few months ago, the screen really makes a difference. Hoping the next gen Switch has an OLED

BOTW may have the more iconic title drop but after the crumbs of promotion we got for years, its arguable that the TOTK prologue is one of the most iconic sequences in Zelda history.

An extremely satisfying full circle moment

Oh yeah, that ost will become as memorable and iconic as some of the classics of the prior games, perfect mood setters. And its the first walk and talk section in a Nintendo EPD game which caught me off guard lol, luckily its as long as you want it to be so it doesnt even have the problem of that type of gameplay.
Also, just found out Zelda won the "most epic" award at Gamescom, the only award that matrers tbh
Playing Zelda and baldurs gate in such proximity is messing my brain up, too much top tier content for me
And why do the best games in recent years have to be massive experiences that last hundreds of hours??? Cant wait to get to pikmin and armored core, those are shorter, tighter games and lord knows i need them
