brent doesn't even come close to the weeknd. his vocal range is some mid

man first of all both their voices are great and they make dope music

lol i don’t understand why y’all put talented people against each other for literally no reason except to not be able to enjoy music

Brent Faiyaz is what Bryson Tiller/6lack were a few years ago imo. He'll get a recognized track like Don't/Problems under his belt, then fade away

  • Apr 11, 2021

    No but he's fire

wrong. brent been grinding for years now, building a solid core fanbase. he is independent too and has a great manager looking out for him while he creates amazing music
6lack didnt fade either lol, he just taking his time recording a new album

Brent is still on an upward trajectory

bout to work with pharrell too after working with dahi and tyler the creator,

everyone i’ve talked in person to about RnB knows about brent like dude is ill.

party has written and produced a lot of good s*** that’s higher up in the industry like rihanna and drake music but his solo career really slowed post-P3

i love both their music i just think brent on a higher trajectory rn

the age of superstars is over. drake's career began at the beginning of the end of that era. he's the last of the big name ubiquitous stars.
can't say for sure if brent is going to be a notable name in his own right, but taking drake's spot? nah

    The Weeknd

    Bruno Mars

    Ariana

    Post

    Travis

    Kendrick

    Cardi

At least 4 of those artists are superstars who came out after Drake

I don’t think the superstar label should rely on sales comparisons

  • Apr 11, 2021

now the music industry changed to where I don't even know if there will be another "Drake" spot

He had such a specific blend of rap/singing moving thru his career as well as connection to two of the other biggest artists in the game Lil wayne, nicki minaj , to where it's such a strong foundation I don't think people can replicate

  • Apr 11, 2021

Now as far as a long career, and being the best in the game?

I'm glad people bigging up Brent like that but Drake has outlasted so many trends and phases of the music industry by now, its actually impressive

  • Apr 11, 2021

another day of Zay showing his whiteness

edit: i just realized he said “niggas”

  • Apr 11, 2021

Easily the best rnb artist in the game rn but Drake can't be replaced

    Lil Life

    drakes the last rap megastar

Travis and Cardi could be megastars if they drop more music tbh. They already got a global following. They just need to grow it more.

    stop tryna get brent dragged

I really hope Bryson, PND, 6lack, all them can still continue solid careers cause they do have the potential to drop some of the best sounding music imo, i've enjoyed plenty of all of their tracks
