I extend the period a little further than most. I think it started earlier with The Stone Roses self titled in 1989 and ended later in 2000 with Coldplay’s debut album Parachutes. There’s plenty of great records buried in the era that people overlook outside of the big 4 (Oasis, Blur, Pulp, and Suede). Groups like The Auteurs, The Divine Comedy, and The Verve stick out the most but tons of other stuff from Gene to Tindersticks. I avoided including overtly dreampop/shoegaze stuff and only kept records like OK Computer because even if it transcends or moves away from the scene it’s still a significant part of its history.

First, are you the same Fidelio from KTT1?
Second, do you consider Stone Roses to be the stepping stone from post punk to Brit pop?
