That’s why I said “kill our demons just feels like such a loose topic on its own if it’s not relating to the d*** addiction theme”

Because obviously it makes sense in that context but if you say he meant it as peoples demons in general then you could pretty much say almost any topic that relates to the ills of the world could fit the theme of the album

But what I'm saying is that it does relate to the addiction theme. He explained in that trailer I posted about how its less about what those Demons are and more about how to kill them instead of trying to find an escape (drugs) before you cause generational trauma, which ties back to the whole d*** theme and kill Edward moniker

    Kids on d****
    King overdose
    Kill our Demons

Brackets and window pain apply to the 2nd and 3rd one. Album ends at window pain.

Agree with the medicate part tho, executed poorly

Taxes is the main theme on Brackets and I don't see how it ties into either of those

I think Call Me If You Get Lost is an example of how to properly tie your themes together on a concept album. The album is predominantly about traveling, wealth, a life of luxury. Tyler's ego and flexing on niggas. But there's also some songs about love and taking another nigga's girl on Wusyaname, Corso, S/ITYWD. Wilshire tells the story and reveals how all his possessions/wealth wasn't enough to get the girl and how that hurt his ego. Multiple themes that he makes connections between, that's a well thought out album. Cole's execution of this on pretty much all of his albums is sloppy

I took brackets as dealing with him using money as a coping mechanism, With that interlude and bridge and just him being stingy with his money, but yeah that's the most out of place song on the album

Don't get me wrong, I think he executed the theme poorly just off that you can't really gather the concept without the trailer or that interview from his brother, but I do think it's his best concept tho with a lot of unnoticed subtleties.
