ight so I'm alone at the crib gf at her parents I order doordash using my credits.
Had to get McDonald's because the options for free delivery were small and I'm not paying $7 delivery just cause it's the weekend
I get a bacon double QP large fries large drink total after credits is 31 cents. Alright cool ๐
It says it's a 50 cents minimum ๐
So instinctually i say ight 31+19 is 50 and slide the 19 cent tip thinking it's no issue he won't even notice
MAN COMES TO MY DOOR WITH A LIGHT ASS BAG I IMMEDIATELY KNOW SOMETHING NOT RIGHT ๐ค๐ค๐ค I INSPECT IT THEN ASK WTF NO FRIES AND THIS THE WRONG BURGER
He puts on his fake ass voice oh must be an accident I'll go back ๐๐๐
Dude obviously closes out the order and that's it. F*** THIS DAMN ENTITLEMENT I DIDNT TELL YOU TO DO THIS B**** ASS JOB
I complained and recieved the whole order backand a little extra in credits so it worked out for me but frustrating
tl;dr doordash driver mad over tip gives me wrong order intentionally missing fries and gives me a tiny ass burger.
I complain got some free s*** and I hope he gets fired ๐ฏ
I look at it as a luxury tax you pay for getting your s*** driven to you. I usually tip but only 15%
This unrelated tho I legit had to go white soccer mom just now and write out the lengthiest of complaints cause of some valid bullshit

When you select Whole Order Missing, you are f***ing over the driver getting paid...

How this s*** get passed onto the consumer by a $12 billion dollar company.
They're supposed to be supplying this luxury they're a delivery service but expect the cost to be passed onto me
The real question is why you would waste money doordashing s***ty ass McDonald's lol... At least get something worth paying for

I didn't know that and if you have evidence of that id like to see it cause I legit didn't know ๐ค as I said in that post tho I blame it on the restaurant never the driver

They pay their drivers already, doordash revenue (now) is received as soon as the customer places an order, not when it's delivered.
Delivery thing is all up to the driver and not all service by drivers is equal. Tip thing makes sense tbh
all I got from this is op broke af god damn

Way i see it, when i go to a restaurant there's no fee for a Waiter bringing me my food there is no fee for getting a hair cut (sales tax applies to everything ofcourse) so a tip is valid
But when I order delivery there's this service fee from a multi billion dollar company ???
