I look at it as a luxury tax you pay for getting your s*** driven to you. I usually tip but only 15%

what about the fact that they charge a service fee on top of a delivery fee, and with the prices of the food being ~15- 20% higher than in store?

DoorDash can f*** right off and pay their guaranteed rate especially since they were not actually paying out tips to the drivers before. If the driver is quick af or gets me some extra s*** I'll slide them a cash tip when it gets there.

So why do you consider the tip the tax for delivery when they charge you twice already for using the service?

Because regardless of what Doordash I'm paying for the quality of service I expect from the driver. The service fee is how Doordash even gets to be a company, but tbh the prices from what I've seen myself are on par with in-store ones.

The delivery fee + service fee is weird but whatever cause I never order from 5+ delievery fee places anyway

    I f***in hate tipping tbh.

I do it but only if I enjoy the service. B****es get mad but that s***s optional.

This s*** was blown out of proportion, I was a driver for doordash and we got payed a LOT more before the "social outcry" over tips being stolen happened.
