why do other minorities always subscribe to this soft derogatory language lmaooo
couple years ago every other minority was calling themselves colored when white folk got tired of saying black and now every minority is calling themselves brown which is an arguably worse "other" catch all term
make this s*** make sense gang
Dergatory
I see native Americans and Mexicans call themselves brown
yeah i do this, im literally brown so..
There is no perspective less perspective. Sadly other people & cultures have let Europeans dictate how to view things “correctly” and coin terms that they then pick up and use because they civilized them? Or reasons
I only see mexicans or middle eastern folks call themselves brown
other terminology will be poc

Cain Valesquez has a big “brown pride” tattoo and he’s like 40. I think you’re just noticing it more now but it’s always been a thing

Mexicans been calling themselves brown since the 80s at the least

Brown means Indian to me. Mexican calling themself brown is goofy just say Mexican. Why switch it up?
Indians been brown for decades let them have it

Okay , but I've never seen anyone call POC brown as an insult either
I'm Indian and don't mind Mexicans, Cubans or any other race being 'Brown' lol.
I was watching Impractical Jokers and realised that the Sal guy looks exactly like my cousin. Apart from his eye color he looks like an Indian guy to me.
I do feel the Black, Brown, White system is a bit archaic though.
