Nothing worse than "coloured" or "POC" like white isn't a colour lol
That's incorrect, white isn't a color it's a shade

And so is black but "poc" doesn't acknowledge that
Also are you correcting this whenever black is being mistaken for a colour?

Yeah but we all know people just say poc to mean minorities

They could just say minorities... also I feel like given white societies and their historical relationship with racial purity, the term POC creates a sense of "otherism" in the eyes of white supremacy but who knows
Like being ready to group black into "coloured" when it isn't one... but quick to remove white from it being a colour is very... hmmm but jajaja
How is it derogatory
depends on the context its used in you might not believe me but I swear I was at a airport once waiting for my connecting flight 2 indian girls behind me were talking one of them was complaining about being denied from a paternity, quote "they said I couldnt join because I was brown" unquote, that shapiro nigga always talking about the "browning of america" but says it actually refers to the decline of a uniform culture and mindset like why did you have to bring color into it lol. like on the real when I think about it when a white person says brown they use it as adjective its (usually) in a negative way
naive to think it can't be used in a demeaning way bro Im learning in this thread its more common than I thought but the point still stands
in california n arizona them spanish niggas n women always called themselves brown idk what you talm bout my guy
