Yo for real. Plus, it’s some artists I’d love to have vinyls from like Ka, woods, Divino, Gunn, Marci. Damn it would be tight to just have a little collection of those dudes’ albums.
"Years Fuming,
treating us Inhuman....made us, grab machines"
How people revere Pac, is how I do KA. His lines is surreal to me. He gives the perfect antidote of unadulterated honest raps mixed with refined mature introspective rap. I dont know how you can ever write any better than what he does.
I could literally quote every bar he ever has & it has a deeper meaning or context..even at surface level he makes street s*** even really thought provoking & from a lens never displayed for many to be able to have privilege to see.
Perhaps it's cause I can relate to a lot of his plight so much, or that I'm just an avid enthuist of not only the art but resilience & the underdog so to speak.
He my favorite artist of all time even more than rap. He the only artist I've ever bought every single project from too. Give KA his flowers while he here
I know he say in his raps "nothing lengthy" (thats how you know I've listened to him daily over last decade) but f*** all that, he deserve to be in museums & murals. It makes it even that much better that he so humble. He reminds you of your pops, favorite uncle, older brother, or whomever that lived different lifes in past & give you jewels from them all without judging you too much on your own choices...just encouragement to do better & be your best for others really, Show Love.
Anytime I can show love to KA or see he getting in, I want to give as much as I can cause I feel like he has given me so much thru his music I am forever indebted. Also done had privilege of speaking to him quickly & he just a standup dude all around even "off the record".
Peace to KA, the greatest writer & artist ever in my humble

love to read this.
I feel the same. Ka’s music is some ancient proverbial s***. The man has NO parallels when it comes to writing and capturing that feeling. I love how casually he says the hardest s***.
Also he’s basically trademarked/mastered internal rhymes, which is nuts
“My work per diem is Herculean
To stay right in the daylight, search the PM”
Opening verse might be my favourite on the album
It’s not respected wise to heckle guys who got the heckler...
I like how Strangers changed up his flow from the Pro Era days ngl
Extremely questionable beat choice for this track
Ka drowned out af. Verse is still fantastic tho
From round the way, sturdy blocks, dirty cops, move pound a day
Homie told me you only get the Tony if you down to play
I'm from hand-me-downs
Never boated, we ran the ground
Friends in caskets, couldn't grasp it like my hands was bound
I'm from nothin in the cabinet and the fridge had dibs
Boast too much, get you touched ain't no braggin where I lived
I'm from day's wrath, couldn't leave home without knowin today's math
Hard place to raise cats, was God's grace but the stray is passed
From round the way, sturdy block, dirty cops, move pound a day
Homie told me you only get the Tony if you down to play
Seen body's layin, ain't nobody playin when it's time to pay
I'm from thirst and hunger, huntin for a 100, search for perfect number
Come from where it hurt to slumber
New careers was birthed and gave work to runner
Did most my dirt in summer
I'm from shattered dreams, erratic teens would've been nice if they had the means
Wouldn't've been in Clinton if they was mintin and had the greens
Years fumin, treatin us inhuman made us grab machines
Lots and abandons, our gutter lullabies was pops from the cannons
Don't care where you from, it's about the props where you standin
Where I was thrown was cobblestone streets before the pavement
Back when assistance was the only thing that aids men and every foul was flagrant
Bless the child that made it
Where them days went?
