Bruce has gotten some sporadic love on here over the years… I know to many he may seem like the epitome of cheesy dad rock but I promise you, speaking as a dad rock scholar, Bruce is one of the few exceptions.

Bob Dylan admires his lyricism… Prince was inspired by his live performances.

Bruce kicks off a three month European tour tomorrow (April 28th) in Barcelona and will return to North America in August for a four-month run. If you can manage a ticket… You will have a great time.

shoutout to BRUCE who has had to postpone the rest of his 2023 tour due to illness. hope it’s nothing serious and we can all see him again next year. he put his whole springstussy into 63 (!!) 3hour shows this year.

unfortunately the lost albums set was postponed another year too. it consists of:
-a lost country album recorded between born in the usa and tunnel of love
-a hiphop inspired/electronic/drum loop album that contains ‘streets of philadelphia’, ‘secret garden’, ‘missing’, and more…
-a western swing album recorded alongside The Ghost of Tom Joad album
-a small rock band album from 1994 featuring the song ‘waiting on the end of the world’
and
-a shorter album consisting of E Street Band recordings from 1998-2001 (early versions of ‘waiting on a sunny day’, ‘my city of ruins’, ‘american skin (41 shots)’ and more

bruce’s vault is so deep and he’s gone through all of it in the last few years so it’s all organized and ready for release.

kanye credited Nebraska as an inspiration for Yeezus!! im sure u knew that though lol. i saw bruce give a talk at the apple store in soho nyc in 2016 and he praised kanye and the production on Yeezus and Pablo. called them “mindblowing” records
