It is unreal how many great albums he has. And it’s like, Western Stars was one of his best & that s*** he dropped at 70. Like what the f***!!!!

I’m so glad this could be my intro to his live albums after hearing so many good things about them & how revered they are ty, sincerely
Nebraska
Darkness on the Edge of Town
Born to Run
The Ghost of Tom Joad
Tunnel of Love
that's just off the dome right now but the man has so many classic albums it's impossible to really lay down a concrete ranking tbh
also the Tracks collection is INCREDIBLE, plus some of his other rarities sets function really well as great lost albums (The Promise, The Tides That Bind)

For sure man I’ve been down the bruce rabbit hole for a decade now and still scratching the surface. Nugs has every single tour represented in pristine quality so it’s truly an embarrassment of riches. Thank god I’m such a Bruce fan bc he is def the most rewarding artist to be a fan of in terms of quality content and shows…Have you ever seen him live?
And yeah the version of Streets of Philadelphia that he does at this Belfast show is even better than the studio version in my opinion… magical s***.
Straight Time such a banger. Got a cold mind to go trippin cross that thin line…

That’s an incredible shot. Which show was that at? Curious what he played even though this tour has been pretty stagnant.
I’ve been blessed to have seen Bruce nine times lol.
Saw him do The River in full at MSG for my first ever show then he did Meeting Across the River into Jungleland for the encore. Yeah…
Then i saw him again that summer in Jersey where he did 4 f***ing hours 8pm-12am and we got Lost in the Flood, Joad electric w Tom Morello, Jersey Girl, etc.
Saw him do interviews for the memoir
Spent my entire summer paycheck in 2017 to see him on Broadway at the Walter Kerr… 12th row orchestra seat… shook his hand after the show and thanked him for the music
And I’ve seen him show up unannounced at 2 Paul McCartney shows to play a few songs. I think I dissociated when Paul brought him out

bro you deadass just became my favorite person of all time. What a f***ing resume for Bruce, I can only imagine all the rare songs he pulled out during those 9 shows, cannot believe you saw JOAD with Tom in electric
f***kkkkk man
and you shook his hand & thanked him
incredible.
What was your favorite time you saw him? You are so f***ing real for spending all your money in 2017 to see him Broadway 10000% worth it & I’m sure the show was f***ing amazing. What’s your favorite song he played at those 9 shows?
OH MY GOD THATS SO SICK ABOUT PAUL WOW!!!!
@op and ty! The photo was in Denver, absolutely amazing show. The setlist has been stagnant but it was all new to me cause it was my first time i cried & yelled every lyrics & all the old folks next to me were soooo pissed

Oh man so hard to pick.
Seeing him do 4 hours in Jersey on the 41st anniversary of BTR was just divine.
He opened the show with New York City Serenade and a full string section, was just breathtaking honestly. That might be the best Bruce moment ever because how could I have expected to hear that one?
Though tbh Meeting Across the River into Jungleland at my first ever Bruce show… at MSG to boot… I was 16 and I f***ing loooost it. And I got to go to the show with my mom who introduced me to Bruce when I was a baby. Before I knew who Elvis or Joni Mitchell or Marvin Gaye or Picasso or even Barney/Elmo/Caillou was I knew Bruce. But I didn’t really dive in on my own until I was a teen.
And yeah, it was such a sweet little moment that we shared after the Broadway show. Someone snagged a photo where Bruce is kind of just shaking everyone’s hand and then he sees 17 year old me with a s*** eating grin just saying thanks for the music and his face lit up like a F***ing Christmas tree. He said “thanks man, thanks!” And the rest was history…
My aunt has seen him 237 times and saw him share a bill with Bob Marley in 73 at Max’s Kansas City in Lower Manhattan. The stories she has…

That New York Serenade story is so wild beautiful. I can’t believe he pulled that one out AND With the string section?!
so dope. I am so glad your fam raised you with Bruce’s music, that is so sick. Really awesome story about your telling him thanks & his reaction
i’m sure he gets such a charge knowing you hers folks listen to his music.
And MAN your Aunt is the realest of all time. That is f***ing amazing & such a cool story about him splitting a tab with Bob Marley. I bet they had a great dinner, they both seem very pure hearted. 237 times…. She’s probably seen Bruce perform his entire discog at this point, so amazing do you know what year her first Bruce show was, if you don’t mind me asking?
