In the 90s, 80 percent weren't seen as great either. Music aprreciates but I would say 2011, 2012, 2015, 2017 were years where we got overwhelmingly better music on both the underground and mainstream tip.

The problem is none of them can get a footing because anything that’s slightly different or experimental gets immediately shot down cause dumbass suburban kids that mostly make up the genres audience think “oh people from the streets wouldn’t listen to this”
