The key thing you're missing here is progression which Bruno has done. 24K Magic sounds nothing like his previous albums. The songs are amazing, they're leagues above his previous work. You can progress, be unique and grow as an artist without having to create something completely unique.

He took a risk most pop artists wouldn't take by going all in on 80s and 90s music instead of just playing it safe and making what was trendy. He did exactly what he wanted and executed it so well. If you can't see how creative 24K Magic was then you lost.

The fact that he was able to pull this off just shows how far he's progressed as an artist, producer, and song writer which can't be said about most popstars in general.

I’ve always said it on here that Bruno is cool (probably my second favorite non rap artist of the 2010s) but if you go watch a Bobby brown, James brown, Morris day and the time performance he is literally a copy paste of them.
