The government doesn’t fund or control hip hop ? I got news for you buddy

That’s conspiracy s***. I’m talking about how the actual government of South Korea looks at kpop as an export similar to Samsung.

The United States doesn’t view hip hop the same way.

Show me any government statement where the US views hip hop the same way they do Ford vehicles let’s say

The US government does not censor art in the same way that the Chinese or Korean government does, that's why

  • How involved was jpegmafia in that song?

It’s not about censorship. It’s the fact that the Korean government treats kpop as an export to increase the countries cultural standing abroad. Thats why when they introduce new groups that they’ve put together it feels more like a console announcement.

You can’t compare it to hip hop or any other type of western music

It is about censorship because their government directly has a say in the art that their country produces, that's why they view it as an export like you said earlier

Korea wanting to boost their artist so they are known in America for something other than war doesn’t equate to the entire genre being a ministrel show . How is your idea of their record execs any different from our Zionist dominated record execs . Only difference is if I call out how Zionist record execs Lyor cohen and Lucian profit from Black Death and culture you say it’s antisemitism.

They not whispering in bts ears be more black

It’s because black culture is popping

Them motherfuckers probably barely knew who jpeg was then jpeg works with ye and they want to too

BECAUSE THEY DONT NEED TO . I’ve said that . Japan I will give you an example anime boomed because they wanted to be known for something more than the horrors of war. Korea is much smaller than America the leaders of tech are China . You probably couldn’t tell me much about Korea. How often did you before k pop hear someone say they want to go to Korea ? Korean restaurants barely existed 10-15 years ago in much of the USA . I am saying their exports are food and art

America doesn’t need exports of art we literally have bases around the world and our art good or bad is easily spread worldwide with top of streaming and we dominate mainstream culture and memes

It does negate it. You’re questioning how much I know about the country when I’ve actually been there. Not only that but on this particular subject of the South Koreans govs relationship with pushing kpop is something I’ve read on years ago.

Does hip hop as a whole criticize America

Use the example of when Obama or even bush was in office ? No

What you are saying is widely hypocritical

We aren’t denying they want it to be successful to boost their ECONOMY I’ve said that since the first post to you . We are saying making sweeping generalizations against the genre is HYPOCRITICAL

The United States government does not view hip hop as an export to increase the countries cultural cache the same way the sk gov does with kpop. I don’t know how many more times it needs to be said

For 8 years under Obama hip hop had very little to say about the American government. I wonder why that is ? He must be perfect
