The money is all locked up in offshore bank accounts, used to participate in speculative asset markets that are basically a casino. None of this money even goes back into developing sustainable infrastructure.
Also national debt doesn’t matter it’s just a bludgeon used by politicians to make sure that policy can’t be used to put a bandage on systemic social issues.
