  • Great book from the 1st female leader of bpp that paints a real picture about the organization and how they too like everyone else, were humans at the end of the day and had moral blindspots (just off the existence of losers like Eldridge Cleaver). You forget them niggas was young as hell taking on a lot

(One of the saddest books ever)

James Baldwin one of my favorite authors of all time period.

If I had read this during college, my life prolly goes a lil different no 🧢

Very informative book from different perspectives on black sexuality.

RIP D*** Gregory, bro had a way with words.

What else is there to say bout this one

As a sci-fi geek This Parable series prolly one of my fav series, shame she never finished it due to writer’s block

  • Flight to Canada by Ishmael Reed, just a hilarious and insightful read. Blends satire with – I guess I’d call it sci-fi? The Civil War and 70s America are laid on top of each other; Abe Lincoln is a frequent guest on the Tonight Show and slaves escaping plantation life travel by jet. It’s quick too!
