but see that is kinda logical tho
his most powerful move, in dire times... he doesn't even overuse it imo
it was used pretty sparsely since he learned the move
Give Buu more distinct characteristics and have him face off against Goten.
But what you do is have Goten be on some Batman Beyond s*** where the way he solves problems is vastly different than from how Goku and Gohan would handle it.
Maybe have Goten be more brutal cuz even though he’s a powerful alien he’s still a kid that doesn’t have the strictest sense of morality and doesn’t totally know right from wrong
like even going way way back like dragon ball is unimpeachable classic all the way from red-ribbon army to cell so its like give the man his due but some of the later s*** you can tell he's just like done with writing manga at that point
which is fair because the life of a mangaka seems like a brutal terrible existence
Bruh dbz is that crossover anime that non nerds love, even ppl who hate anime f*** with dbz
I hate dbz
dragon ball z is the illiad of our time. and manga is the closest equivalent we have to epic poetry. akira toryama and eiichiro oda belong in the same conversation as homer
shut up nerd
Vegeta literally had an in-anime character development, he turned soft... which is what made him 1000000x better in my opinion
Helping cell go 100% isn't soft it's just stupid, especially for vegeta of all ppl lmfao
because of the fact that you're looking at an unimpressive teenage/kid opponent who is so immensely powerful yet childish than a mf
if he was a giant amongst giants it would've made more sense to the average viewer imo, but i LIKE the unpredictable nature of his appearance matched with his power levels
This argument falls apart because he turned into Super Buu who was just Pink Cell at that point
Helping cell go 100% isn't soft it's just stupid, especially for vegeta of all ppl lmfao
it's not necessarily that instant i'm referring to although even there you could say he wasn't willing to pull all stops anymore like he used to
oldskool Vegeta was a psychopathic spoiled brat of a maniac lmao
no way he could've been a helpful teammate for Goku and his friends if he didn't atleast soften around the edges a bit
This argument falls apart because he turned into Super Buu who was just Pink Cell at that point
Buuhan even talks and sounds like him lmao
Helping cell go 100% isn't soft it's just stupid, especially for vegeta of all ppl lmfao
Yea Vegeta known to play dirty lol but now he got honor with this random android even though he was double crossing his own comrades on Namek like Zarbon and Dodoria lmso
Buuhan
Maybe if toryama got his way buu woulda absorbed goku, final battle Gohan vs Gobuu
Let's talk about it
Goku a deadbeat
Vegeta has caused genocides
I don’t like any of the characters, story, lore, dialogue
Fights are extremely long and tedious.
Would rather watch almost anything else then overrated mid

yes and no
Making Goten more powerful or just as powerful would've really made it less exciting to watch imo.
And the thing is, i love Goten too as much as anyone, but having him be some sort of hero or main protagonist for too long feels off, maybe bcus he's just too young or immature
but his behaviour is way too clownish to watch for large amounts lmao and i say that as a Goku stan lmao
lifes too short for gimmicks
my gimmick is a short but well lived life

i think for me buu needed to be dealt with by gohan. have goten take the same role that gohan had with goku. except gohan's the mentor figure and then do what you're saying with it have him do something completely unexpected to take care of buu

Both facts.
That's why i can never fully stand behind Vegeta and find it weird how people prefer him to Goku.
It's fair to not like any characters, but could that have something to do with the whole nature of the anime... maybe fighting to be the strongest just isn't your cup of tea?
Fights are tedious indeed especially if you don't get any enjoyment out of them.
I don't see why someone would be mad at your opinion
yes and no

This is why I tell you to watch more anime cuz there’s anime that do what I’m talking about with protagonists like Goten and make it more interesting lol
What I described is literally what happens during the arcs in Hunter x Hunter and Gon is a more morally gray protagonist because of these choices and thus better written than a lot of DBZ characters Lol
guys i can't keep up i was meaning to read up two pages ago but yall keep quoting and adding other interesting insights
