I dont think so, he was just super impulsive. He got the idea of making it a grande thing and just posted the thread asking to get banned and before he even realized it himself it had already happened
We might really never see him come back, based off our interactions. Mans was living life in France he's doing fine probably enjoying some Noé or watching some Chris Marker documentary
