Hell at one point they throw in lord of the rings, the whole scene is frodo offering the ring at a pawn shop, only getting 5 dollars for it, Gandalf trying to comfort him and getting kicked in the balls and yelling "OWWWW MY PRECIOUS!!!"

least talented writers/directors I've ever seen, and the craziest thing is those movies all made money

Back in those days business was so good literally anything could get made and put in theaters, d list comedians were getting starring roles,, literally any TV show actor would get one or two chances to become become leading man,, similar to how in music industry everyone's buddies/weed carriers got to release albums with real promo, even the Tony yayos of the world

Wild to think of considering how now releasing a movie in theaters that isn't a superhero sequel is a struggle and a half
