It’s a valid criticism cause some people really do sound pretentious when you say an artsy movie they like is trash, they automatically hit you with the “go watch fast and furious” or “you just don’t get it”

Some movie nerds are so lost in their world they forgot movies are to be enjoyed and if I think the arthouse movie they love sucks it doesn’t mean I only love big mainstream films, I’ve probably watched more s*** than them and I’m just not impressed by good cinematography and acting if the script and what I’m being shown on screen sucks or is just plain boring.

From what I’ve seen these kinds of people just d*** suck whatever a director they like (or think they have to like in order to sound smart) and just act like they can do no wrong when in reality if michael bay made the same exact movie they would hate it.
