    Tonight on Kinodrome

We're looking at one of Manoel de Oliveira's masterpieces, Francisca which it's particularly inspired by Max Ophuls in wonderful and extravagant cinematography. A fine portrait painting, if you will; of a love affair resulting great deal of fatalism. It can be slow at times, but you got to follow this revolting storyline in the exquisite 19th century setting. This imaginative and moving film is most recommended by me, a pretentious film critic on an online music forum. Available on Criterion Channel and a blu-ray by Grasshopper Films.
