I’m not even capping and will keep it on topic but if you have a child and you got like 1 movie they must watch in your will you understand your life and to motivate them to stay alive what is it ?

Cause most of this art isn’t worth the suffering of existence or tediousness of bills credit score all of this

    Trainspotting

i think it's a crazy conceit for a story and the plot construction is really well done, the way the film is structured tying in with the MCs lack of memory.

it's not particularly interesting besides the novelty of the film's plot mechanics. but that alone carries it regardless

Thank you for putting into words why it felt soulless to me even though it was well made. Well said

I THOUGHT YOU WAS A REAL GEEKER

    Sorry, I failed you
But to be honest, I like Inception, it was first movie that I've bought on blu ray, and I watched it like 4 times in a week back then not only because it was the only HD movie that I had, but also I found it to be pretty cool.
I picked it now mostly for lolz, I'm only at the beginning of my Geeker journey, thanks to this thread and some people who told me about Letterboxd.
Speaking on the topic, what movie can I put in my will so children can watch it and understand why life is worth living? The question in itself is a little pretentious.
I think Handmaiden maybe, it's a beautiful tale, so kids be like: Damn, I want to go and get a degree so I can work and pay my bills, to watch more of that good stuff.
