gotta disagree with this. Lolita's goal is to make the reader uncomfortable and does portrait the main character as a horrible monster. A lot of people who love the book love its prose and a lot of them are women too

You didn't see Licorice Pizza yet so you won't understand. Let's say I just watched Irreversible and then jumped in the Noe thread to proclaim that the film and anybody that likes it is pro-rape because the film didn't explicitly tell me rape is bad. And then after everybody else in the thread makes a solid case for the film not being pro-rape i still decide to hound you in particular over it because I know Noe is your favorite. No matter how many times you explain your take on the film and literally beg me to agree to disagree so that we can remain friends I won't f***ing let up and end it without asking "so youre not into rape tho right?"

This is what Twitch did to me and it was so aggravating I nearly quit ktt. I thought you made the private Kino section to get away from posters like that but you guys are telling me to get over it and hang out with him now and I'd rather leave. I just had surgery and am on alot of d**** sorry for the rant. Around page 100 of the LP thread if you're curious but you should watch the movie first.
