It all depends with Takashi Miike the violence is so cartooney that it turns from gross to funny, although there's still moments in a Takashi Miike film that made me uncomfortable AF (like the climax to Audition)

I’m cool with gore in the sense of heads being chopped off and blood, I like s*** like that. But private parts getting abused makes me cringe. And then I can’t look at throw up and just nasty s*** in general being in peoples mouth, food included.

i did a small short with a former homeless man when i applied for directing, out of 250 applicants i was one of the 30 something that made it to interviews but competition is harsh. didnt make it to the practicals

i absolutely despise editing myself because i lack proper proficiency for final cut and premiere. i wouldnt mind have someone edit for me while i look over their shoulder
