Wait what list? What happen
You said you needed elric and sace & em to give you recs and they were dropping recs so i quoted you
Been on a big Kubrick wave tonight. Started with Lolita then after that I started 2001. I can’t believe the same director directed both of them 6 years apart and in the same decade.

Where at? I didn’t see any only something about speed racer
What the f*** is that EEAAO review you liked talking about
"it's a childish paliative, unlike the recent self-critical protest songs by Van Morrison and Bob Dylan"
Van is coming out with trash anti-vax jams and Dylan just dropped another cataclysmic self-reverent mastapiece. Man hasnt come out with a "protest song" in half a century.

Probably the best criticism of the movie I seen so far amid all that friedbrained reviews in Letterboxd. Yet I don’t like it.
Thought Bob Dylan released a song but you have to listen yourself

Not since 2020 and none of them were "protest" songs
he's hated that term since 1964
Also calling Vans anti-vax s*** protest music is generous and weird as well
EEAO is probably overrated, but it’s equally bad. The Reddit-level humor is hard to get around while some action scenes are pretty good at least. As if trying to do like The Matrix like a kid copying his/her homework. I find that Armand White review as them zoomers saying “spittin’”. “Unschooled Marvel addicts who never heard of Kafka, Buñuel, or Chuck Jones easily fall for the entropy farce.” like man, that’s a great takedown. While I may call this kind of thing; the Great Filter.

Saw it on the news. Eric Clapton did it too.

Yeah Clapton has been trash since before he told the "wogs to get out of England" but I'm quite certain Dylan has not come out with anything that could be construed as a protest song. Will be happy if you can prove me wrong

Saw it on the local news yesterday. I believe you have to listen it yourself and not available everywhere. Just a vinyl disc.

Ok well theres no way this is what that reviewer was talking about though right?

The film’s ultimate message: “Be Kind,” spoken by two rocks. It’s a childish palliative, unlike the recent self-critical protest songs by Van Morrison and Bob Dylan that insist on responsible personal choices.

Yeah "don't take the vaccine" is what he meant by Van Morrison but I can't imagine what Dylan he's talking about

I don’t know. Although that review is fair criticism that how I felt about this movie.

Yeah I was being generous with my review it was too much
Man I can not believe how abominable Hacksaw Ridge was
was morbidly curious about all the people that gave it 5 stars and a cursory look showed that all of them had also Suicide Squad in their top 4 all time
