It's cohesive, very well produced and has some of Earl's top lyrics. All of this with 15-16 years old. Not to mention the kinda big impact it had when it came out
I love Doris and I see a lot of praise for Earl's work since IDLSIDGO here in KTT and that's cool, but I don't feel like as a whole, any of his post projects being able to match his 1st tape
Some Rap Songs is superior in every aspect, not to shade the impact of his debut but cmon

As I said, I love Doris but I remember at the time a lot of people got kinda disappointed with it after seeing the quality of the Earl tape and were expecting much more
even tho all of tylers beats are hard on it. s*** aged like milk
I wonder if Tyler still thinks it's better than Illmatic.
Can't really go back and enjoy a lot of the early Odd Future stuff.
It's when they were having fun making music and nothing can beat that feel
It shows a lot of promise but come on. It’s easily his worst project, with each project showing substantial improvement from the last. He’s done nothing to make me think that his next one wont be his best so far

lmaooo i forgot that
I personally loved I don’t like s***. I don’t go outside mostly because of the beats and aesthetic. Him rapping good is just a huge bonus to me.
I think it was a great showcase of his lyrical ability but at certain times it's almost like he'd be spewing a dictionary.
His later work he actually mastered brevity and was able to evoke more introspective bars and songs which added more personality to his music
