it's one of the most promising tapes a 16y/o ever produced but it's not a masterpiece like basically everything that came after. The edgy lyrics aged really badly, to no one's surprise

I haven't listened to it in a while, but from what i can remember it's just a bunch of 2 minute snippet songs where Earl tries to do what MIKE had already been doing better.

kind of sad that his work at 16 is higher quality and far less pretentious than his work 8-9 years later

Doris and IDLS and SRS are extremely better in subject matter and song quality.

Earl was good at the time but looking back he’s just doing elite lyrical miracle rap fantasies over some really good tyler beats. which is cool but i’d way rather hear him rap about his real thoughts and experiences than about killing somebody. it’s childish.
