You either have s*** ears or s*** headphones then. There is an undeniable difference when you are using headphones that are capable of going that extra mile when they are paired with a stack.
Oh thank you, damn can't hear s***
dont worry, the vast majority of people can't. lot of people love the placebo
i dont trust anyone who says they can tell the difference unless they show proof of taking a blind test placebo can be a powerful thing
Nah you can def hear a difference with a dac/amp usually a wider soundstage
F*** does that even mean
Do you mean l/r width? Or frequency range? Or what?
@dankulo I've bought 560s , in the end I appeared too greedy

similar to l/r but imagine a band playing infront of you you can hear the vocalist at the front drummer at the back guitarist on the left and bassist on the right they all have their own place on the soundstage and with a little better equipment you can basically hear where the sound is coming from in that 3 dimensional space better bc ur phones just has more power
I feel like it really depends the music u listenin to. Pop/ rap you cant notice the difference cause all sounds from the computer. Something like rock, jazz, where its recorded with real instruments will bear more difference
Damn, download album in DSD and maybe it's a placebo effect but even through my 280 pro it sounds so crispy
Oh thank you, damn can't hear s***
U have to switch to flac for a lil while to get used to it
Then when u switch back to mp3 / m4a youll notice the difference easily
It’s not worth doing in the first place tho tbh lol

I'm getting a Sennheiser 560s today, hope that it would noticeably affect my listening experience, because otherwise to return them would be a pain in the ass.
I've listened to DSD this week and I think I pick some difference, I used to listen to a lot of flac before leaving piracy behind and getting Spotify, so there is something annoying about spotify for me sound quality wise, but I don't know does flac actually goes softer on my ears, or it's an illusion.
DAC/AMP is all placebo. I used to have a top of the line DAC and headphone amp setup. Well not too of the line but it was damn expensive, I think it was called the frost DAC.
DAC def makes a difference
you need really high end speakers or headphones, like at least $1000+ speakers are way easier to notice imo
honestly even a lower end DAC is fine, most people overspend on the DAC but it does isolate noise well and boost the gain in a clean way that doesn't distort the EQ curve at all
Sooooo, I've bought 560s and I can't really understand am I bugging or there is literally some new texture to sounds, like on Lovesick Girls from Blackpink I've noticed the bassline for the first time. They are probably working, even though I fell that Flac/mp3 test suggested earlier in thread.
