I don't get why there are sudden surge of weird ass threads in Life SXN as of late. Ffs we already had a thread very similar to this just not too long ago

Don't agree with Steve, but I can see where he coming from.
Think it's different if you have a wife/husband and you hanging out with someone else could make the other person feel like something going on.

BabaláwoUse subscribe to that Steve Harvey mentality once upon a time, but it's an issue that requires intense self-reflection tbh. Most of the people I consider my closest friends, are women.
I think the distinction needs to be made is that, platonic relationships are possible with the opposite sex, but a man if given the chance would more than likely f*** his female friend he is cool with. The difference maker is, that the man is not actively trying to f***, or pursuing anything more than friendship, But if you were to ask "would you f*** your friend" more than likely the answer is gonna be yes.
This is me with some of my female friends. I have friend that I would definitely f*** but I have no interest in actually trying to make any move towards that. Now if they initiated then that's a different story

Apr 27, 2021·editedNon-sexual relationships can definitely happen. 100%. Obviously mating is a natural instinct for us, but that doesn’t mean you should only see women as potential partners.
They’re human too and should be treated and seen in the same light and respect as any of your male friends. If you can't control your sexual feelings around any woman you meet, you may need to consider a therapist or put some personal work in to become more conscious of your mind and not let it wander into these gutters.
I have more friends that are women than I do men. With a lot of them, there’s been no sexual tension or feelings of taking the relationship to the next level. S***s never been weird like that for me.
I got a fiancé, & out of respect to her, I establish my boundaries when I befriend another woman, as well as making sure hers are acknowledged and respected as well.

I think it’s fair to say that quite a bit of men or women as well would smash their friends if given a chance. That said, saying that a man can’t be friends with a woman doesn’t make any sense.
Oh yeah fasho, I know given the chance a nice chunk of both genders would hop down depending on what their beliefs are. Some of us really value genuine friendships. That’s why I don’t understand the people that act like it’s a weird concept that some men don’t pursue their friends.
