Again, not to overuse Pharrell as a comparison, but I dont think Pharrell is chasing "that big record" per say either, but look at him and his output over the last 6, 7 years.
High quality still, distinct Pharrell sound still

Timbo's has had a greater output of records than pharrell for the past 7 years lol. It's just that since 2014 (post 20/20 experience) he hasn't had a notable release come out.

Neptunes re-united on it too. How did this album suck so hard Idk bro, they say Chad was involved BUT it didn't really sound like a Neptunes record, more like Pharrell solo. I didn't hate it as much as other ppl did tho, kept a few tracks on rotation for a little while. But it's definitely JT's worst album.
