Still a great rapper regardless.
Threads like these just show how ed people are when others don't care about Don Toliver or whoever else that sounds like an autotuned chipmunk drop.

Idk how anyone can get down to nothing but YSL rap all day tbh. Seems like that’s what a lot of KTT users are like. I need a decent mix of genres otherwise I’m bored out of my mind.
Agreed but based on what he put out solo wise it didn't match the hype, people talked about him like a rap god (mad at myself for using that term.) F*** were we basing that off of walk it out remix?? Or other cheesy features lol..
Most of his features are pretty good. His one solo album is one of the most influential records of the genre lol.
At this point you’re just talking out ur ass
i love how music is prohibited in islam
yet he pretends he's a good muslim lmao
that boy is haram

Nation of Islam isn’t disgusting you just disagree because you as a white man are insulted by being called evil
Bruh.. You really calling me a white man?? I’m a Muslim myself from the Arab world smarty pants. Nation of Islam is a black supremacy group with traditional Islamic ideas. Similar to Ku Klux Klan with white supremacy and Christian ideas. So I guess you don’t find them disgusting either? Look at what Nation of Islam believes in, what they stands for and educate yourself. It’s pretty disgusting. People who are member and supports them are basically racists, fascists, homophobic, misogynist and believes in a living of using barbaric ways to take over the world. Do you support that?

I’m sorry for calling you a devil my bad.
And I definitely see that there are deep flaws within the organization but the message I feel is important
Just started listening, I like these strings, but then my man started talking about we the children of Israel, I’m out
C***talk.

OP right btw
Jay ElecMidica
Can’t believe y’all fell for this niggas history mystery, mumbo jumbo, ramadaan haraam raps then waited 10 years for a Hov album
HOOTIN!
His subject matter is f***ing lame. He should go f***ing live in a country where they rule based on these outdated, war mongering scriptures with an iron fist
Single sentence first impression of each song
Intro: It's an intro.
Ghost of Soulja Slim: Beat is better than the vocals.
The blinding: Liking the bass line, song is bad ass, groovy and chill at the same time.
The never ending story: Jay's verse is wack, need a Jay Elec only version.
Shiny suit theory: felt like I was stuck, the applauds ain't necessary.
Universal Soldier: Subject matter is wack, f*** all your ideologies.
Flux Capacitor: Song sounds forced and the ending was the best part.
Fruits of the spirit: Vintage Jay Elec, got that nostalgia.
Ezekeil's Wheel: Good track, added it to my Airplane nap time playlist.
A.P.I.D.T.A: This beat is very good, hope the instrumental comes out.
Good Album. He should follow it up soon, he might catch a classic down the line cause this ain't the one.

This was really Hov’s plan all along.. build up this big legend of J Electronica. All so he can Break him down and f*** him up on every single song... finally cementing his own legacy.
Without even having his name on it.
Niggas who actually like him dont even write this much about him b take a nap
Okay but for years we’ve had to put up with everyone overhyping this guy, acting like he was some sort of untouchable rap-saving saint, and because he didnt have a discography you couldnt argue. how can you be bad if you’ve never even released an album right?
well now we finally have it. after 12 years we are finally allowed to critique Jay Elec and guess what? he is boring and forgettable as f***. it is genuinely laughable how little he has to show for the past decade.
wtf is this album? why now? why not 10 years ago? it sounds like an album that could have came out 10 years ago. did he run out of money? hell it sounds like an album that could have came out 25 years ago. there is nothing cutting edge here and even Jay Elec himself takes a backseat as he needed Hov to appear on over half the album to pad up the minutes
and the worst thing about it is that Hov absolutely outshines him on every song. Jay Elec becomes a background character on his own debut album as he chooses to rhyme about scriptures and spaceships and s*** on every track in the exact same boring flow and tone of voice. wtf are you even talking about Jay Elec my man??
tldr: this is a boring album and i for one am glad that the Jay Electronica mystery can finally be put to bed
