S*** dumb as hell bruh. Niggas forget there was an "ice age". at worst the earth is just returning to its original pre "ice age" state

Where we can talk about race related topics without it getting locked? No hating on other races and just discussing topics related to race and society. It's a real thing that a lot of us deal and struggle with on a daily basis

And what is the alternative and how is it better? For someone making 120k a year what would they gain from changing the system?

It's not about benefiting the people that make 120k a year though. It's about the rest of us.

Let's discuss it. I think a lot of races still see black people as only entertainment and that's why they think cultural appropriation is OK without realizing that it's our culture not just entertainment for them. I don't really know what the second topic means though

To be honest there's alot of white people who don't want to end up like their parents at all so they attach to other cultures for that spark

Like which tier then? People making under 80k?

Are there trade offs or something? Will the upper middle class see drops in income?

The point is to ensure a baseline standard of living for all people.

    You sound detached from reality

Why would rush to 120k like that's a normal person's salary

In NYC I need to make that much or more to live comfortably so if we change up the whole system I want to know how it's gonna affect me and everyone around me

If we have a baseline standard of living for all people is that standard gonna be higher in NYC and DC than it is in Kansas City and Omaha?

Pretty sure OP wanted to discuss race relations, not climate change and politics. Stop derailing this thread and stay on topic.

If that's how much you need to make to live comfortably, the most people in New York simply don't live comfortably.

Politics and race linked, there needs to be a political framework for race to exist, want discussion of race will naturally veer towards politics

Yikes I can only imagine the comments

Or I don’t have to because it is probably a bunch of subtle racism

the comments were pointing out the irony that trump is a bully so the kid deserves to be bullied

Yeah this thread went left so quickly.

I'm doing my part. I take the bus and don't even own a car so I don't know what I can add to this conversation. also barely care about politics... The US let's politics affect things outside of politics too much. I don't tie race with politics because the politicians don't give a s*** about race relations. I'm black first before any political affiliation

Yea they're linked sure, so then link it back to race, not climate change.

I mean... yeah. New York is a f***ing dump if you aren’t rich. Just like most major cities. That’s why half of the people working there just drive in from neighboring state’s suburbs.

Cost of living is that high in those areas because of how capitalism works

I’m a huge racist. F1 over NASCAR. In fact there’s:

    Rally Racing
    F1
    Mario Kart
    Drag Racing
    Indy 500
    Go Carts
    Amusement Park Racing
    Bumper Cars

    Somewhere down there

    Nascar
