    you can't scientifically prove to me that science can prove everything, that makes scientism circular and untenable philosophically...

    Science doesn’t aim to prove everything. It aims to help prove what it can in an observable and replicable manner

    Why else would previous scientific notions regularly be disproven and rewritten actually? Why not simply build on the dogma regardless of contradiction?

    i think abortion is alright but it's an unfortunate measure to take, however i never really got why some of the arguments center on what defines a human life/baby. and in any case i think the scalpel-like approach to defining such is a bit silly. the thing growing in a womb when a woman gets pregnant is a baby. it isn't like a kinder egg where there's a surprise inside. it's gonna be a child
