Apparently he planned to go back to a heavy focused rap album next.

Hopefully some of that surfaces through Madlib

    That would be dope.

    Incredible album.

Easily his best imo, would’ve loved to see where he would go next. Gone far too soon.

I have such a tough time listening to this album, I really miss this guy, he deserved to have a long career, his growth as an artist from first project to last is probably unmatched (in recent memory).

Mac was my very first concert in 2011, after he released Best Day Ever, and I remember everything about that night so vividly. He really ignited my passion for music.

    We miss you Mac. R.I.P.

I would’ve enjoyed that rapping centric third album that was supposed to be next way more. RIP Mac tho

For real, it would have been a classic. Circles has too much singing imo

As good as the album is, I do wonder how much of this album is actually a full fledged Mac Miller album as opposed to a jon brion finishing Mac Miller songs that max didn’t finish himself because he died album

I'll admit, I've never been a huge fan of Mac. Always knew he was a very capable artist but I always felt like he wasn't able to really construct a cohesive album. It was either slightly unfocused (The Divine Feminine) or wasted potential but still great (Watching Movies With the Sound Off).

With Circles, he really showed his true potential. When he's not rapping, he has the perfect voice for this somewhat lonely and helpless type of delivery that works so well for this album. You feel every single line he sings and you can tell he truly means it.

Good News for example is brilliant, hands down the best song he's ever made.

Whenever i'm having a s*** day, i can always count on Circles to make it slightly more tolarable. Such a comforting and soothing listening experience... Thanks again Mac
