People actively choosing to overlook the fact that drake creates pop songs with writers and creates rap songs on his own and that's why he is more popular than the average rapper. You are some miserable people enjoy the genius' music

    This isn’t true

How much did the cowriters write?

A word or a whole bar?

Should be easy to track down a leak if he’s as much of a fraud as yall say right

  • Jul 15, 2024

LL Cool J popularized that term “GOAT” and he got washed by cannabis but he’s still one of the Goats of hiphop . If you don’t know about LL don’t speak on him with ignorance, because he was huge(pause) in his prime.

Yall sound like Ye fans when they used to be in denial about his writers.

And I already know the response to this is gonna be “they openly speak about it. And to that I have to say hush calls himself “the hand of the 6 god”

If he’s this fraud, it should be extremely easy to find a leak of his lyrical tracks or time stamp tracks

Where the OVO mole when you need him

  • No.

I’m saying we don’t need a leak because we can look at the album credits and see he didn’t write some of these songs 100% by himself. And a few of the songs have no hooks so we can’t use that excuse.

You can say “we don’t know how much they wrote” but it doesn’t really matter does it?

The point is that even many of the “lyrical” tracks he didn’t write all by himself

I mean id say it does matter.

Until we have proof, everyone is talkng out the side of their mouth, guided by their own biases

Just let me see ya prove it

  • "He's the GOAT hitmaker"

He had zero number 1 solo records pre streaming rule change. 'Hotline Bling' got blocked by The Weeknd's 'The Hills'. Streaming rules changed the game and suddenly he got more slaps that the Beatles

Not to mention he's never had anything of substance to say in his career. He's the streaming GOAT, along with Taylor, one of the best hitmakers of the 2010s and had one of the longest runs being at or near the top of the genre(mostly due to weak era). That's about it. Top 10 if you really a Stan. Top 5 and you should be locked up

Ironic because the only one being objective here is me. I’m not here arguing who wrote more of what. I’m just simply saying he’s had help on many of the “lyrical” songs. That’s a fact. It’s not really debatable

The only one being bias is you coming through with the cope response of “what if hush just wrote one line”

I don’t deny he’s had help but you agree that someone in the studio giving him a line here or there or tweaking the cadence is a lot different than Yachty writing Jumbotron, or Vory writing mob ties.

From the body of work, we can assume that Drake is nice with the pen but sometimes needs a little help with the creative flows on the more pop adjacent hip hop songs

Kendrick clearly respects drakes pen and was firing on all cylinders because of it.
