Again that leaves out nuance and context in a lot of ways. They settled it's not like the case got dismissed. While settling doesn't mean he's guilty either, not being convicted doesn't mean he's innocent

I've read the case and I personally don't think he did it, but I'm saying there's no concrete or damning evidence to swing either way, and we're telling a rape victim she's wild for criticizing a man she thinks could be guilty. If he couldn't hoop talk wouldn't be as mad. Being a celebrity doesn't mean in he's immune to criticism. Again I don't agree with her but you gotta at least look at it from another perspective.

there are plenty of rapists who aren’t convicted and plenty of non-rapists who are. rape/sexual assault is often hard to prove and from what I’ve read, it was a murky situation
regardless, Evan’s comment was distasteful and it bothers me how no one cared about this when the man was alive but automatically saw fit to bring it up before his body (and that of his daughter’s) was even put into the ground. people have no respect
