Anybody else feel this way?
I’ve got a beautiful GF, loving family and good friends but I just haven’t achieved what I want to achieve in my career just yet.
I’m in medicine and I haven’t matched to the residency of my choice so I’m working and applying currently to get in. I just know I can’t be truly happy until I get in the field. Anybody know of ways to combat these feelings of inadequacy?
You'll make 100s of thousands once in career you'll literally be rich, plus what you have now
That's more than almost anybody in this world can expect for the future
Be happy with what you have. Be excited about what you want.
lol sucker
you could be happy nearly the whole time. its possible
If that’s what you want achieve it but be thankful for what you have in front of you as well

damn thats tough 🗣️💯
Way to brag about having a gf
Crine when I say 90% of KTT are virgins I just be talking my s*** but in every thread like this you got somebody bothered as s*** somebody got a GF or just even talking to a girl lmao
I wont be happy until i own nothing
Yeah man I do not vibe with the “I just want to live a simple life in the woods” mindset whatsoever. Good for you, if that’s what you want then go for it But we ambitious on dis side fr
Combat the feelings of inadequacy by accomplishing your goals and reaching the benchmarks of success you set. Then you can push for even more
I feel this way all the time but I'm not like unhappy I just know I'm ready for the salary and ability to not be doing nothing but school/work all the time which will really do wonders for my stress and ability to relax
You'll probably think of right now as the "good old days" once you start in your field. Work is work, it's not always fun
I say enjoy right now as much as you can, you never know !

being a successful Medical Doctor will probably consume you to the point that you barely enjoy the other aspects of life. I say this as someone with several family members who went down the road you're on right now. not to discourage you but it's not something that necessarily Leads to happiness at all unless you love it to death. best of luck with your ambitions, I'm just being real w/ you and saying that it will not solve your unhappiness/ discontent.
I agree with you though. If your career is something that truly drives you and makes you happy (regardless of the pay), then climbing the ladder and achieving the most in your career will mean a lot to you
